Robert Salcedo is the Head of Manufacturing for Cytovia Therapeutics.

As a Biopharma Executive, Robert Salcedo comes 25+ Years of Experience in Biotechnology and Solid Dose Manufacturing experience which includes 7+ Years working closely with start-ups in Gene and Cell Therapy companies. He led executive teams in Developing Regulatory, CMC, Clinical and manufacturing scale up strategies and the construction of commercial facilities ranging from 20MM to $1.5Bn. He was a leader in Amgen’s construction and technology transfer in Puerto Rico, which supplies Drug Substance and Drug Products to the world and is considered as a state of the art flagship integrated site. Robert has held leadership roles in Genentech and Amgen with combined 20 years of experience. Within his boutique consulting firm, he has multiple clients which are focused on both Gene and Cell therapy and biologics companies. As a consultant he has led US, China, Australia and India in global strategy with a focus on early development, scale-up, commercial manufacturing, clinical, regulatory and development quality system to support early-stage development to product approval.

His company has anchored multiple companies and led them through late-stage process development of CMC and Quality Systems to enable Gene and Cell Therapy companies to conduct First in Human Trials in the US, Australia, China, India and EU.
