Dan Chiche, MD

Head of Clinical Development

Dr. Chiche brings over 20 years of Clinical Development experience including at top tier pharmaceutical companies GlaxoSmithKline and Bristol Myers Squibb. He has been involved in key aspects of clinical development for compounds in various therapeutic areas, and is very experienced with the clinical research standards of the ICH, FDA, and EMA. Dan has also held the position of Chief Medical Officer for the NEOMED Institute in Montreal, driving a lean R&D model to bring assets to the clinical proof-of-concept stage of maturation. As President of Kompas Medical Services Inc., a company providing support to biotechs, pharmas, and other institutions including hospitals, Dan had the opportunity to develop his entrepreneurial spirit and flexibility, leading a great variety of programs across a wide range of geographic areas and cultures.

Dan is a member of the Board of Directors of Thallion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (TSX: TLN), a publicly traded biotechnology company based in Montreal.

Dan is a Medical Doctor with additional training in biostatistics (as part of a Master in Human Biology program at the Gustave Roussy Cancer Center) from Paris-Sud University and holds a Master's in Marketing and Commercial Development (equivalent to an MBA) from HEC in France.
