Evelyn D'An
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. D’An is an established financial and operational leader with extensive experience in corporate governance, financial oversight, and accounting. She was the first female Hispanic partner at Ernst & Young Southeast, where she spent 18 years serving clients in several industries, including life sciences. She has led and participated in several successful initial public offerings, debt restructurings, and mergers and acquisitions.
Over the past several years, Evelyn has served in financial leadership roles with fast-growing start-ups in various sectors, strengthening the financial and reporting governance structure. She previously served as SVP of Finance and Accounting, for Brightstar Corporation, a Miami-based $5B global distributor and service provider for the wireless industry, where she was tasked with preparing the company for an IPO. She led the growth of the global finance teams into a more cohesive, timely, and streamlined reporting structure.
Evelyn is also an experienced board director having served on numerous boards since 2006. She currently serves on the board of NASDAQ-listed Summer Infant, where she chairs the Compensation Committee and is a member of the Audit Committee. She also serves on private company boards, including the Board of the Florida National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). Evelyn is a frequent speaker on governance topics.
She is bilingual in English and Spanish. She is a licensed CPA in New York and Florida (inactive) and a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany.
